PURPOSE: An impurity removing apparatus is provided to prevent combustion air from being leaked into an exhaust duct of a shaft kiln by installing an air spraying nozzle at an inlet part of the exhaust duct. CONSTITUTION: An impurity removing apparatus includes a nozzle pipe(110), an air feeding valve and an actuating section. The nozzle pipe(110) is fixedly installed at an inlet part of an exhaust duct(4) and is provided at an outer peripheral portion thereof with a plurality of nozzles(111) for spraying air at a high speed. The air feeding valve is connected to the nozzle pipe(110) and is selectively opened or closed. The actuating section rotates a damper(2) and turns on/off the air feeding valve. The actuating section has a bracket fixed to the damper, links connected to the air feeding valve and the bracket, and a hydraulic cylinder connected to a lower portion of the bracket.
