PURPOSE: A catalyst supply apparatus for a washing machine is provided to dissolve the catalyst promptly by crushing the catalyst and supplying to a washing tub in washing early, to use for a long time without compensating the catalyst by storing the large amount of catalyst, and to prevent deterioration of the catalyst by forming the rod catalyst. CONSTITUTION: A catalyst supply device for a washing machine is composed of a chamber(10) having a radial blade(1), a hopper(5) including a discharge port(5B) formed for a washing tub and a discharge hole(3A) connected to the hopper; a deceleration motor(20) attached to the outside of the chamber, driven by power from a control unit, and composed of a rotating shaft(11) including the rectangular section protruded horizontally from a side wall of the chamber and combined with a compression coil spring(13); and a rod catalyst(30) having a rectangular hole movably inserting the rotating shaft of the deceleration motor, and attaching a fixing disc to apply elastic force of the compression coil spring. The catalyst is dissolved quickly and stored for a long time by supplying catalyst powder with crushing. |
