PURPOSE: A filter press for easily removing cake is provided to separate sludge adhered to filter plates in the cake state by using force of air ejected through air ejection nozzles mounted on the filter plates of the filter press. CONSTITUTION: In a filter press comprising a filter plate transfer means in which a plurality of filter plates(1) are slidingly arranged on the upper part of guide bar, and the filter plates(1) are moved side to side on the upper surface of the guide bar, the filter press for easily removing cake comprises an air ejection means(50) for separating sludge by ejecting air onto sludge stuck to the filter plates(1) in the cake state through air ejection nozzles(42), wherein the air ejection means(50) comprises air ejection nozzles(42) installed on the surface of the filter plates(1); air supply valve(30) installed on the arm(13) with being connected to air supply hose(40) inserted from the outer part of the filter plates(1) to the side of arm(13); and air supply line(41) for connecting the air ejection nozzles(42) and air supply valve(30) to the inner part of the filter plates(1), and wherein the air supply valve(30) comprises cylinder, piston and pressing spring.
