PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk player whose starting time is reducible. SOLUTION: When the disk player is started, an adjusted value at the previous time is read out from a memory 32 by a system controller 30, and this adjusted value is set in a servo LSI 20 as an initial value at the servo adjustment. By the servo LSI 20, servo adjustments (the adjustments of the phase compensating amount and a gain with respect to a focus error signal, a tracking error signal, etc.), are executed. When the servo adjustments are finished, the adjusted values set by the servo LSI 20 are obtained and stored in the memory 32 by the system controller 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
