PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically opening/closing a car door is provided to improve a stability and convenience by preventing the car door from automatically closing by a self-weight of a leaf of the car door when a car parks or stops at an upside road. CONSTITUTION: A motor(1) drives a pinion(3). A stopper(41) set a limitation of opening of a door leaf. A bracket(5) fixes the motor(1), the pinion(3) to a cross wall at an inside of the door leaf. A control box includes a relay and a delay circuit. A slop surface is formed at an upper surface of a rack(4) in a direction to which a door open. A projection is formed at an end of the slope surface in a direction to which the door closes. A brake device(10) includes a brake pad(11), an elastic member(12), and a brake cap(13). The brake pad(11) slides on the upper surface of the rack(4). The elastic member(12) presses the brake pad(11). The brake cap(13) fixes the brake pad(11) and the elastic member(12) to the bracket(5).
