PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system which enables efficient print processing even in print processing using various OSs (operation systems) and can easily print data on rear faces. SOLUTION: In the print system, a memory area smaller than a prescribed area remains unused and a new start address is set to perform read processing of print data from the start address so that data access may be easily performed even when a special OS is used by control of a descriptor table controller. When data is printed on rear faces of recording sheets, data access is easily performed by preliminarily registering access procedures in a descriptor table. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
