<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter which does not have the possibility of an adverse influence on a load apparatus, by preventing the generation of distortion in output power waveform from a power conversion unit. <P>SOLUTION: In a phase compensating unit 4d of a control unit 4, a phase formed at an output phase forming unit 4c and the phase of pulse signal synchronized with a system power supply 2 are compared with each other to compensate a coefficient of phase compensation according to the magnitude of a phase difference. When the phase difference is large, the coefficient of phase compensation is set to a small value and the output phase is tuned slowly with the phase of a pulse signal. When the phase difference is small, the coefficient of phase compensation is set to a large value, and the output phase is tuned promptly with the phase of the pulse signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
