PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment capable of simply operating and managing transmitted or received picture data reserved in an archive. SOLUTION: The facsimile equipment 1 is provided with a means for transmitting or receiving picture data, a means for storing the transmitted or received picture data in archive devices 21, 23 located in the facsimile equipment or in external equipment by specifying a URL or a directory, a communication management recording file 20 for associating the specified URL or directory of the picture data with a record in a communication management log 22 generated in transmitting or receiving the picture data for storage and an output means for associating the storage location of the picture data stored by the means with the record in the communication management log for output.
