FIELD: fitting manufacture, namely apparatuses for closing pipelines in gas, oil, chemical, power and coal production industry branches. SUBSTANCE: rotary wear-resistant shutter includes housing with flow-through opening and with inlet and outlet branch pipes. Stationary discs of shutoff member are arranged in housing; movable disc is arranged between stationary ones. Along disc circumferences flow-through openings and shutoff portions are uniformly arranged. Discs of shutoff member are made of steel and they have similar round flow-through openings and shutoff portions. Flow-through openings of stationary discs are provided with concentrically arranged ceramic rings. Shutoff portions of movable disc are provided with identical ceramic rings. In center of movable disc there is through opening. Symmetrically relative to said through opening at both sides of disc between flow-through openings and shutoff portions radial grooves are arranged. Said radial grooves have length extending until maximum diameter of tangent line to flow-though openings. Surface area of through opening is no less than total surface area of groove cross sections. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of closing flows of abrasive containing working fluids, lowered cost of making and repairing shutter. 3 dwg
