摘要 FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves comparing alternatingly recorded signals from different pumping-in lines with their phase difference taken into consideration. The comparison takes place in the course of high-pressure fuel appliance functioning in alternating mode. The difference of alternatingly compared signals is taken as the parameter to be diagnosed. Permissible difference value is determined by loading, speed and transition mode of Diesel engine operation. The device has transducers mounted in every pumping-in line, signal amplifiers, switchboard, inverting adder, setting unit, comparator unit, signal delay calculation unit, signal delay unit, signal issue unit, loading, geometrical supply and impulse transducers, circuit for determining loading transition mode, geometrical supply start, calculating high pressure fuel pump shaft rotation frequency, two analog-to-digital converters and two memory units. The switchboard has two outputs connected to the analog- to-digital converters connected to the inverting adder. The inverting adder and setting unit are connected to comparator inputs. EFFECT: high reliability of operation; high accuracy of diagnosis in continuous mode without interrupting engine operation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
