PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain excellent cushioning properties and also to make a seating posture stable by enhancing a pressure of supporting the lumbar region. SOLUTION: A seat back frame 1 almost shaped like a quadrilateral frame and a tension assembly 2 having tension members 22, 23... held by the left and right vertical frame bars 20 and 21 are provided, and coil springs 3a, 3b, 4a and 4b are provided as tensile members of the upper and middle parts, while straight wires 5a and 5b are provided as tensile members of the lower part.
