<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the trouble on a stationary type toner cartridge that difficulty is found in driving and coupling in attaching the toner cartridge though space is effectively used when the toner cartridge is put transversely under a main body operation part for upsizing the toner cartridge and to improve operability at the time of attaching the toner cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: When a cover 203 having a rib 203h whose end face is spiral is turned in a direction shown by an arrow E2, a collar 211 and a coupling 209 go to the right against a spring 210, and the coupling 209 is housed in the cover 203. The collar 211 can move only in an axial direction by a guide member 202a. When the toner cartridge is attached to an image forming apparatus so as to be put transversely and the cover 203 is turned in a reverse direction to the direction E2, the coupling 209 is projected by the spring force of the spring 210 and engaged with the coupling of the image forming apparatus main body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
