The brake control unit consists of a frame (2) carrying an assembly actuated by an electric motor (17) to apply a traction to a mobile control member (3) operating the brake (6). The traction assembly comprises a pulley block (11) with at least one roller (12), a drum on the electric motor shaft (14), and a flexible belt (20) with one end fixed to the frame and the other to the drum.
