<p>A bottle-like synthetic resin container having a generally square tube-like drum part, wherein rather wide longitudinal groove-like groove ribs are recessedly provided in the flat wall portions of shoulder lower end parts, i.e., in the continued portions of a shoulder part with the drum part at a center along the lateral direction thereof, whereby a rigidity at these portions can be increased to make difficult a deformation and, even if the deformation occurs, to prevent that deformation from becoming a permanent deformation so as to increase a safety for handling the container, particularly, for stacking and storing the container in laid-down attitude.</p> |
