PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an absorbing body by which a stable and high performance continuous production of the absorbing body having a central absorbing body and side absorbing parts placed at the both sides of it is possible and polymer leaking dose not occur even in the case when a water-absorbent polymer is contained in the side absorbing parts. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for the absorbing body is composed of a turning process that forms a side absorbing part 43 comprising a two layered fiber web by turning both sides 12a and 12a of a belt like first fiber web 12 that is continuously carried, a process to form a central absorbing part 42 comprising a two layered fiber web by laminating a second fiber web 17 on the central part in the width direction of the first fiber web 12, and a process to cut an absorbing continuous body 40 formed with the side absorbing parts 43 and the central absorbing part 42 into each size of the absorbing bodies.
