PURPOSE: Automatic end play control systems of a transmission for a vehicle are provided to control clearance of gears elastically and control an engaging pattern of input and output gears easily by installing at least two end play control systems to the sides receiving thrust load of speed gears at regular intervals. CONSTITUTION: A synchronizer of a manual transmission for a vehicle comprises a clutch hub(20) combined to a spline of an input shaft(10); a clutch hub sleeve(40) installed to the outside of the clutch hub and combined to a spline of an output shaft(30); a synchronizer key(60) supported to synchronizer springs(50) elastically; a synchronizer ring(70) causing synchronization by causing friction action from a gear cone; and speed gears(81,82) idling on shafts when an engine revolves. Two automatic end play control systems of the transmission are installed to the sides receiving thrust load of the speed gears at regular intervals. The automatic end play control system comprises a spring and a metal ball.
