PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic reporting device for a vehicle, capable of performing automatic report control most suitably according to the running environment of an own car. SOLUTION: In a control unit 11, an automatic report (Mayday) control module 112 has a function of transmitting a rescue signal to a Mayday base station 101 in response to the detection of accelerating or decelerating speed larger than a designated threshold. An AHS control module 111 has a function of controlling the driving support operation for outputting alarm to a driver or avoiding danger according to the running condition of his own car detected by a car speed sensor 12, a lateral position detector 13 and the like, and changes the above threshold when the own car and/or another vehicle exists in a crossing or the own car deviates from a running lane, and delivers the changed threshold to the Mayday control module 112.
