PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicolor display panel by which multicolor display of high definition and high quality can be realized and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: Two or more kinds of display bodies respectively containing at least two kinds of particles having colors different from each other and moved by application of an electric field or at least two kinds of particles having color areas and rotated by application of an electric field and having optical reflection properties different from each other are disposed in prescribed positions on a substrate to form the display panel. The optical reflection properties of the display bodies are changed by application of an electric field.
