LABEL FOR INFORMATION DISPLAY OF MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM AND MAGNETIC DISK CARTRIDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label for information display of magnetic recording medium and a magnetic disk cartridge which simply and quickly displays information recorded in a magnetic recording medium by using the recording medium having excellent visibility and displays the latest recording information on the surface of a cartridge storing the magnetic recording medium in the easily readable state at all times. SOLUTION: This sheet type label (A) for information display can be stuck on the surface of the cartridge C made of synthetic resin which stores the magnetic recording medium composed of a magnetic disk (flexible disk) (B). This label (A) for information display is formed with a sheet type laminate having a recording layer which can reversibly display or erase a visible image with heat or light. The recording layer is made to be a reversible thermosensitive recording layer which can display or erase a visible image by reversibly changing transparency or coloring in accordance with temperature and, preferably, is made to be a recoding layer containing a light absorbing agent.
