PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plated product whose discoloration and peeling caused by the corrosion of a metal plated layer can be suppressed, and to provide a production method therefor. SOLUTION: The plated product 11 is composed of a base material layer 12, a base coat layer 13, a silver plated layer 14 and a top coat layer 15. At first, the surface of the base material layer 12 is coated with the base coat layer 13 consisting of a two-pack type urethane coating material whose chief ingredient has a backbone chain of 70% acryl-polyol and branched chains of 30% alkyd-polyol, and whose curing agent is a buret type HMDI. Next, the silver plated layer 14 is formed on the surface of the base coat layer 13 by utilizing silver mirror reaction. Then, the surface of the silver plated layer 14 is coated with the top coat layer 15 consisting of a silicone-acrylic coating material. The top coat layer 15 is allowed to stand for ten days after the coating film formation and drying, and is aged so that Tg of the top coat layer 15 reaches >=60 deg.C. |
