PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary guard fence wherein assembly and disassembly work are easy and storage and conveyance of each member is easy. SOLUTION: The temporary guard fence comprises a guard fence body, a guard fence foundation member supporting the guard fence body, and a fitting for attaching the guard fence body to the guard fence foundation member. The guard fence body is provided with a strut for fixing a guard fence and a guard fence, the guard fence foundation member is shape steel having a pair of flanges facing each other and a web connecting the flanges, and the guard fence body is attached to the flanges by the fitting. The fitting comprises a fitting body and a bolt and nut fixing an end part of the fitting body to the flanges. The fitting body is cross sectionallyΩ-shaped, and auxiliary fittings for supporting the strut are provided between flange and the strut.
