PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable mobile phone with a simple structure without losing compactness by which a user can visibly recognize a liquid crystal display section in a closing state on which electronic mail and a home page of the Internet are displayed. SOLUTION: An upper terminal body 11 comprises an upper part 101 on which a liquid crystal display section 105 is placed, and a base 102, the upper part 101 and the base 102 are connected by a lock means 104 capable of turning over and removably attaching both and a communication means 103 making electric connection between both. An operation means 106 allowing prescribed operations externally, even when the liquid crystal display section 105 is turned over so as to be exposed externally in the closing state, is placed to the upper part 101.
