PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard support device to facilita performing input works for a long time when a keyboard is used and to simultaneously perform other works such as preparing documents by securing a use area of a top board when the keyboard is not used. SOLUTION: The keyboard support device A is constituted of a base part 1 on which the keyboard K can be placed and a wrist rest part 2 on which a user can place a part of hands and is provided with a support mechanism 3 for supporting the base part 1 so that a lying position P approximately horizontal to a surface t1 of the top board and an erecting position Q at which the base part 1 is erected to the surface t1 of the top board can be taken and a retreating mechanism 4 capable of erecting the wrist rest part 2 to the surface t1 of the top board and simultaneously retreating the wrist rest part 2 to a position which does not prevent an erecting motion of the base part 1 when the base part 1 takes the erecting position Q.
