FOUR-LAMP SYSTEM HEADLAMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem on a conventional four-lamp system headlamp which has two low/up-beam reflecting mirrors integrated with a bracket for movement in collimation causing heavy weight and poor durability. SOLUTION: The four-lamp system headlamp comprises a collimator 3 consisting of a vertical direction collimation part 31, which has a main bracket 31a provided between two reflecting mirrors for making the elevation angle of one reflecting mirror 4 adjustable and a subsidiary bracket 31b to be cooperated with the main bracket for making the elevation angle of the other reflecting mirror 5 adjustable and for making the bias angle to one reflecting mirror settable for the other lamp, and lateral direction collimation parts 32 provided individually for the two reflecting mirrors. The need for the larger and heavier bracket for changing the directions of the two reflecting mirrors together during collimation is eliminated.
