<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CPP-MR type magnetic reproduction sensor in which magnetoresistive effect is improved. SOLUTION: A CPP-MR type magnetic reproduction sensor is so configured as to comprise, in lamination structure, MO (magnetic nano-oxide) layers 4 and 40 containing any one selected from among surface oxides of iron oxide (Fe3 O4 ), chromium oxide (CrO2 ), ferronickel alloy (NiFe) and ferrocobalt alloy (CoFe), ferrocobalt nickel alloy (CoFeNi) of spinel structure, ferrimagnetic garnet, manganite, other ferromagnetic perovskite, and ferromagnetic nitride. Thanks to present of MO layers 4 and 40, the length (resistance path length) of district at which conductive electron is subjected to resistance becomes longer, for raised sensor resistance as well as larger difference in resistances between spin-up electrons and spin-down electrons. Since the the giant magnetoresistive change rate (ΔR/R) is assured, the magnetoresistive effect is improved.</p> |
