PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar power generator capable of detecting an instantaneous voltage drop in a power system at high speed and stopping an inverter. SOLUTION: This solar power generator comprises a system voltage level drop detecting means for detecting that system voltage is lower than a prescribed voltage level, and a detecting duration measuring means for measuring the detecting duration of the system voltage level drop detecting means. If the system voltage level drop detecting means detects the level drop, and the measurement period by the detecting duration measuring means is equal to or longer than a prescribed period; the instantaneous voltage drop of the system is detected and the detecting duration measuring means becomes ineffective near a voltage zero crossing point. The solar power generator is also provided with a gate block means for cutting off a gate signal of the inverter, which stops output by cutting off the gate signal of the inverter to protect the device from becoming overcurrent when the instantaneous voltage drop occurs, and restarts driving by transmitting the gate signal to the inverter when the voltage is restored. |
