PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal having an automatic tracking device of a camera by using specific part recognition function on face is provided to recognize a specific part of a face from an image captured by the camera, and to calculate a central face position from position information of the specific part, then to automatically control a position of the camera, thereby preventing a user from manually controlling a camera direction. CONSTITUTION: A camera unit(310) is composed of a camera lens, a camera housing surrounding the lens and an image signal extractor, and is detachably mounted on a portion of a mobile communication terminal. The camera housing converts directions with a 2-directional degree of freedom. A camera driver receives an image captured by a camera, decides whether an image is the same as a reference image pre-stored in a terminal storage space, extracts position information of the image, calculates a central face position and position information of the image, and delivers a control signal to a camera direction driver(320) by generating the control signal, in order that a direction of the camera unit(310) goes toward a calculated central face. A terminal memory(340) stores basic images on a face and other setup information.
