PURPOSE: A semi-transmissive reflecting film and a color liquid crystal display device having the same are provided to improve the transmissivity of red light for obtaining high luminance and high color purity entirely. CONSTITUTION: A color liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate having first electrodes, a second substrate(20) having second electrodes and facing the first substrate, a color filter(30) mounted to either of the substrates and forming a plurality of pixels of different colors, a semi-transmissive reflecting film(40) mounted to the second substrate toward the first substrate for defining the pixels into reflecting areas and transmissive areas, a polarization plate and a quarter wave plate formed outside the first substrate, and a backlight formed outside the second substrate. The semi-transmissive reflecting film has opening parts(42a-42c) corresponding to respective pixels of color filters, wherein the aperture rates of the opening parts are different per pixel.
