The bedding cushion (1,2) for pipes has a lower bearing surface (1b) and an upper bearing surface which in the longitudinal direction of the pipe to be accommodated is constructed as a trough (1a,2a). The lower bearing surface (1b) of a cushion may be flat or also constructed as a trough (2b). Each trough has a surface complementary to the external surface of the pipe to be accommodated. Each trough has a part circular cylindrical surface, and the troughs on the upper and lower sides may be constructed differently.
