<p>The invention concerns a device for testing medical appliances for breathing assistance, characterized in that it essentially comprises a mechanical assembly simulating compliance of a pulmonary system with: a compressible hollow means (5) enabling suction or evacuation of a variable air volume so as, through repeated expansions and compressions, to simulate or reproduce actively and independently a patient's ventilation, with a single tubular connector (3) for air intake and evacuation comprising an air stream characteristic sensor; motoring means (12) connected to the compressible means and designed to vary the internal volume V of the compressible means. The invention also concerns an electronic assembly (13) controlling the entire device.</p> |
