PURPOSE: A surface acoustic wave device is provided to easily test an input block by densely forming an input pattern for test and a ground pattern for test electrically connected to an input pattern and a ground pattern of the input block on a scribe line and a region adjacent to the scribe line. CONSTITUTION: A surface acoustic wave device(100) includes a substrate(2) in the form of plate having a piezoelectric characteristics and provided with a plurality of scribe lines(4) and a plurality of columns and lows crossing each other, an input block(10) provided with a plurality of interdigital transducers(IDT)(11,21) formed on a predetermined region consisted by the plurality of scribe lines(4) and an input pattern(14) and a pair of ground patterns(15,25) electrically connected to the IDT(11,21) for converting the electrical signal into a surface acoustic signal, at least one output blocks(20) provided with a plurality of IDTs spaced from the input block(10) by a predetermined distance for converting the surface acoustic signal into an electrical signal by connecting the output pattern(24) and the ground patterns(15,25) to the IDT(11,21), an input test block(IT) provided with an input pattern(17) for test electrically connected to the input pattern(14) of the input block(10) and adjacent to the scribe lines(4), connected to the scribe line(4) through the outside ground line by the ground patterns(15,25) of the input block(10) and the ground patterns(28) for test connected to the scribe lines(4) adjacent to the input pattern(17) for test and an output test block(OT) provided with an output pattern(27) for test electrically connected to the output pattern(24) of the output block(20) and adjacent to the scribe lines(4), connected to the scribe line(4) through the outside ground line by the ground patterns(15,25) of the input block(10) and the ground patterns(28) for test connected to the scribe lines(4) adjacent to the output pattern(27) for test. |
