PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a color thermal recording paper surface from thermal chaps. SOLUTION: The color thermal printer 10 is provided with Y, M and C thermal heads 14a, 14c and 14b for heating yellow, magenta and cyan thermal coloring layers of the color thermal recording paper 12 respectively. Each thermal coloring layer has an uppermost layer of yellow with magenta and cyan layers arranged sequentially in this order. The Y and M thermal heads 14a and 14c heat the color thermal recording paper 12 from the surface, thereby making yellow and magenta thermal coloring layers color. The C thermal head 14b is arranged in an opposite direction to the thermal heads 14a and 14c, heating the color thermal recording paper 12 from a rear face to make the cyan thermal coloring layer color. |
