摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the liquid crystal display quality by contriving a pattern to be formed on the surface of substrates constituting a liquid crystal device so as to reduce the nonuniformity of substrate intervals, that is, so as to reduce the cell thickness dispersion of a liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal device is provided with a pair of substrates 3a and 3b stuck together to each other with a sealing material 4, a conductive material 5 put into the sealing material 4, a pair of wiring patterns 29b and 33 connected by the conductive material 5 in a conductive area 31 set at a proper place of the sealing material 4, and a first dummy pattern 34 passing through the sealing material 4 at a part facing the conductive area 31. Though cell thickness is likely to be inhomogeneous as the result that the wiring 29b and the wiring 33 are arranged across the sealing material 4, the problem is solved by providing the first dummy pattern 34.
