PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for inspecting an end face of an optical fiber connector capable of changing magnification of an objective lens without accompanying mechanical movement in an optical system in changing the magnification. SOLUTION: On a first optical axis 11, a first sample stage 12, an objective lens 16 of high power, a second half-mirror 32, a first half-mirror 31 and a CCD camera 8 are arranged in sequence. On a second optical axis 21, a second sample stage 22, an objective lens of low power 26, a third half-mirror 33 and a reflection mirror 35 are arranged in sequence. In the case of high power inspection, a light source 17 is turned on. Light reflected from an end face of the optical fiber connector 1 is made incident on the CCD camera 8 through the objective lens 16 of high power, the half-mirror 32 and the half-mirror 31. In the case of low power inspection, a light source 27 is turned on. Light reflected from an end face of an optical fiber connector 1 is made incident on the CCD camera 8 through the objective lens 26 of low power, the half-mirror 33 and the reflection mirror 35 and the half-mirror 31.
