PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage case for an escape ladder, which can be utilized as a footstool at escape and can normally prevent a child from playing by getting on the storage case in fun. SOLUTION: This storage case 1 for the escape ladder allows the escape ladder to be housed in an approximately rectangular parallelepiped-shaped box body 11. The storage case 1 is equipped with: a top plate 21 of the box body 11; a lid part 2 which has at least an upper front part 31, brought into continuous contact with the top plate 21 by splitting a front plate 3 into upper and lower parts, and right and left upper side plates 41 brought into continuous contact with the front plate 31 and the top plate 21 by splitting right and left side plates 4 into upper and lower parts; and a case body part 5 which is fitted with the lid part 2, and has a bottom plate 51 of the box body 11, a lower front plate 32 brought into continuous contact with the bottom plate 51, right and left lower side plates 42 brought into continuous contact with the front plate 32 and the bottom plate 51, and a back plate 6.
