METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FINE METAL POWDER, AND CONDUCTIVE PASTE USING THE POWDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fine spherical metal powder free from agglomeration into chain-like state, to provide its manufacturing method and conductive paste using the fine metal powder. SOLUTION: The fine metal powder is manufactured using a reducing agent from an aqueous solution containing metal ions. An additive for forming a cationic complex together with the metal ions, is added to the aqueous solution. As the additive, a water-soluble compound having unsaturated bonds is used. For example, alcohols having unsaturated bonds, such as allyl alcohol and propargyl alcohol, are suitably used.
