PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a brake shoe greatly reducing the manhour. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for the brake shoe is characterized in including a process for disposing a temporarily-molded lining material 14a in a cavity 16 of a drag 15 having the cavity 16 forming an upper-dented and circular inner bottom surface 16a, a process for setting a shoe body 11 with its outer circumferential surface coated with adhesive in a cope 20, a process for inserting the outer circumferential side of the shoe body 11 set in the cope 20 toward the side of the lining material 14a and the shoe body 11 into the cavity 16 of the drag 15, and a process relatively pressurizing and heating the drag and the cope, regularly molding the lining material 14a into a circular lining material 14 along the cavity inner bottom surface 16a, and simultaneously sticking the lining material 14 to the outer circumferential surface of the shoe body 11 by the adhesive.
