TRAVELING CONTROL SYSTEM FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a traveling control for an automobile satisfying liking of various users and easy to operate with reducing pedal step change operation. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a selector switch 1 allowing selection a normal mode and operation reduction mode. When the normal mode is selected, driving power is controlled according to operation quantity of an accelerator pedal 50 and braking power is controlled according to operation quantity of a brake pedal 60. When the operation reduction mode is selected, the driving power is controlled at a deep operation range of the accelerator pedal and the braking power is controlled at a shallow operation range of the accelerator pedal, and the braking power is controlled at a deep operation range of the brake pedal and the driving power is controlled at a shallow operation range of the brake pedal.
