PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium sheet having excellent impact resistance and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The titanium sheet with excellent impact resistance can be obtained by regulating the Vickers hardness of the titanium sheet to 125 to 220 without addition of alloying elements, such as Al, V and Mo, carrying out rolling at least in two directions orthogonal at an angle of 90 deg. to each other to regulate the value of an indexαto 0.4 to 1.0 in the pole figure of the hexagonal (0002) plane on a titanium-sheet surface, (wherein, the indexαis a value obtained by dividing, with respect to A and B, a smaller one by a larger one when A represents a distance between two points of intersection at which a contour line of prescribed strength intersects an RD axis and B represents a distance between two points of intersection at which the above contour line intersects a TD axis in the pole figure of the hexagonal (0002) plane).
