CONNECTING HOLDER OF SUB-LANCE AND PROBE

PURPOSE: A connecting holder of sub-lance and probe is provided in which the probe is axially rotated relative to the sub-lance by operation of ratchet when mounting the probe on the sub-lance or removing the probe from the sub-lance so as to prevent any one sided deformation of the probe due to vortex of molten steel. CONSTITUTION: In a holder installed at the lower part of the sub-lance to connect sub-lance and probe, the connecting holder of the sub-lance and probe comprises a fitting (32) which is removably connected to the lower part of the sub-lance, and on which a through hole is formed so that the through hole connects inner and outer surfaces of the fitting (32); a main holder which is axially rotationally mounted on the fitting (32) with the main holder being longitudinally inserted into the fitting (32), and in which a ratchet gear (31b) is formed at a part where the through hole is positioned; a protrusion which is inserted into the through hole of the fitting (32), and at the outer end of which an inclined surface slanted upward to the upside of the fitting (32) is formed; a sliding bar (81) which is integrally fixed to the inner end of the protrusion, elastically supported by a spring and mounted on the fitting (32) so that the sliding bar (81) is slidingly moved in a direction in which the protrusion is projected to the outside of the fitting (32); and a hook which is rotationally mounted on the sliding bar (81) and elastically supported by a spring (88) so that the end of one side of the hook (87) is engaged with the ratchet gear (31b).
