PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server computer provided with a connection closing function effective when half-open connections frequently occur. SOLUTION: The server computer is provided with a communication control part 102 for establishing connection between a server object for providing service to a client and the client and mediating communication between them, a monitoring part 104 for monitoring the number of times of connection between the server object and the client and a generation/destruction control part 103 for destructing/generating the server object under the control of the monitoring part 104. In detecting that the number of times of connection between the server object and the client reaches the maximum number of times, the monitoring part 104 instructs the control part 103 to destruct the server object, and immediately after the destruction of the server object, instructs the control part 103 to generate a new server object.
