The method and equipment for determination of the isobaric balance liquid - liquid-vapor in heterogeneous systems use an ultrasonic probe for application of ultrasound to the mixture. The ultrasound probe (7) is coupled in a tube (5) welded to the vessel (1). The initial end of the tube and the operative end of the probe located within the vessel at the level of the conduit (3) which connects it with the mixing matrass (2). The tube and the probe adopt a direction of minimum inclination in relation to the imaginary axis of the vessel. Between the probe and the tube a hermetic closure is established to avoid leakage of liquid and/or vapor with the least loss of acoustic energy transmitted to the liquid.
