PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor with a piezoelectric element which generates a rotating motion using the piezoelectric element as a driving source. SOLUTION: This motor A with the piezoelectric element includes a rotating shaft 1 supported so as to rotate freely, a first electrode 3 provided at an end surface of the rotating shaft 1, a piezoelectric element 4 provided at the first electrode 3, a second electrode 5 provided at the piezoelectric element 4, and an inertial body 6 which is constituted by sandwiching the piezoelectric element 4 between the second electrode 5 and the first electrode 3, and provided at the second electrode 5. The piezoelectric element 4 is of disc shape and Langevin type. The disc has a first divided piece 41 and a second divided piece 42 which are divided into two, the first divided piece 41 and the second divided piece 42 are provided so that a polarization direction may become different from each other, voltage is applied to between the first electrode 41 and the second electrode 42, and a rotational displacement is generated so that the displacement direction of the first divided piece 41 and the displacement direction of the second divided piece 42 may become different from each other to drive the rotating shaft 1. |
