SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a photovoltaic element comprises a process for fixing plurality of metallic body electrodes 15 held by a holding tool with a prescribed clearance on a layered product 11 where a photovoltaic layer is formed on a substrate, and a process for dividing the layered product 11 according to the clearance.
