PURPOSE: An image information outputting device, an image information receiving device and an image information outputting and sending method are provided to prevent information, which is output from the image information outputting device to an external device, from being used for other purposes than the original object. CONSTITUTION: An image information outputting device for outputting digital image information, which is input or reproduced from an accumulating medium, to an external device is composed of a control information detecting part(30803) for detecting control information including copy-control information added to digital image information; a first outputting part for outputting digital image information to the external device; a second outputting part for converting the digital image information into an analog image signal and outputting the information to the external device; and a control unit for controlling the outputting of the first and second outputting parts to the control information detected from the control information detecting part.
