PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably increase the easiness of use of a memory card by easily and understandably displaying the state of access and accurately informing of the state of operation. SOLUTION: When a memory card 1 is installed in a host computer, an access state detection part 7 determines whether the state is in busy state or ready state. In this determination, it is detected whether the state is after Stand- bystate or not and, when the state is after the Stand-by state, the detection part determines the state to be busy state. When the state is busy, the access state detection part 7 outputs control signals to a control part 10, and the control part 10 receiving the signals lights up an access display LED. A recognition state detection part 8 determines whether the memory card 1 is after the Stand- bystate including the Stand-bystate or not and, when the card is after that, outputs the control signals. The control part 10 lights up a recognition display LED. |
