PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punch hole and a notch punching apparatus preventing a punch hole waste and/or a notch waste from being mixed up in a product in a bag making process or the like. SOLUTION: In this punch hole punching apparatus 100, a punch hole 20 is punched in a traveling wrapping material 2 and the punch hole waste 30 made unnecessary by punching is exhausted from a suction pipe 36. A detecting sensor 42 for detecting the punch hole waste 30 is arranged above the wrapping material 2 in which the punch hole 20 is punched. The punch hole waste 30 on the traveling wrapping material 2 is detected by the detecting sensor 42. The detecting sensor 42 links with a warning mechanism when detecting the punch hole waste 30 for links with the warning mechanism and the stop mechanism of the punching apparatus.
