METHOD FOR PRODUCING BUTADIENE-BASED RUBBER PARTICLE HAVING SMALL PARTICLE SIZE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing butadiene-based rubber particles having small particle size of 0.02-0.065μm average particle size and used for MBS resins and the like which are improving materials of thermoplastic resins such as vinyl chloride-based resins in high solid concentration in a liquid dispersion system with enabling generation of heat of polymerization reaction to be controlled. SOLUTION: This method for producing butadiene-based rubber particles is to polymerize a seed rubber by polymerizing a little amount of a butadiene monomer, and polymerize the balance of the butadiene monomer by adding the monomer after the seed rubber has been polymerized. Thus, the heat control of the polymerization reaction is realized and the high solid concentration can be attained in the obtained liquid dispersion system.
