METHOD FOR DRILLING BRANCH HOLE IN ROUND PIPE AND DRILLING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A method for drilling a branch hole in a round pipe and a drilling apparatus are provided to improve the quality of a T-shaped pipe, productivity and energy efficiency by drilling a branch hole from the inside of a round pipe to the outside of the round pipe. CONSTITUTION: A holder(3) having a punching tip(2) having a slanting lower face is inserted to a round pipe. The punching tip is pushed up via a slide pusher(4) inserted to the holder and operated pneumatically and hydraulically. A branch hole is formed from the inside of the round pipe to the outside of the round pipe. A drilling apparatus comprises the holder having a punching tip mounting hole(7), the punching tip having a guide groove(8), and the slide pusher having a guide rail(9) corresponding to the guide groove.
