PURPOSE: A flap door assembly for a rear engine of a bus is provided to reduce cost and to improve assembling by installing a striker and a rubber bumper together with one mounting bracket. CONSTITUTION: A flap door assembly for a rear engine of a bus has a flap door(3); a mounting bracket(110); a striker; a lifter(7) and a rubber bumper. The flap door is installed to be opened and closed centering around a hinge(3a) on one side of a rear body(2). The rear body contacts both lower sides of the flap door. The mounting bracket is fixed to the other side of the rear body. The striker is combined with a latch on an upper surface of the mounting bracket. The latch is installed to the flap door. The lifter is connected to one side of the mounting bracket. The rubber bumper is installed to the other side of the mounting bracket. Thereby, cost is reduced and assembling is improved by installing the lifter, the rubber bumper and the striker with one mounting bracket.
